The Best Pixar Voiceover Performances
As a celebration of Steve Jobs’ contribution to Pixar, here’s a classic feature…
30. John Morris as Andy (Toy Story 1-3)
Why It’s So Special: So many of the strange worlds and stories that Pixar ask us to fall in love with work because there’s often a child surrogate on the screen, voicing our own innocence and enchantment.
As Andy, Morris brought such enthusiasm for his toys that we were instantly sold on why Woody and Co were proud to be his – and why the now 25-year-old actor’s return in Toy Story 3 was such a wrenching experience.
Morris speaks: “I remember when the first film came out, I would play, and then I would leave my toys, and I would close the door, and then I’d crack the door open just to peek really quickly to see if they were moving.”

Joel Schumacher wanted to make The Dark Knight with Nic Cage as The Scarecrow
Batman & Robin director Joel Schumacher has claimed he wanted to make a Dark Knight style follow-up to the Batman film even Batman says is terrible.
But Warner Brothers liked the Batman & Robin dailies so much (HOW?) they tasked Schumacher with making a fifth film, presumably starring Clooney, entitled Batman Triumphant.
“I was supposed to do a fifth one” Schumacher said. “I was talking to Nic Cage about playing the Scarecrow. I had begged the studio for The Dark Knight but they wanted a family friendly, toyetic thing.”

To which, naturally, Han replies: “Who’s scruffy-looking?” Guess he doesn’t think Nerf herders are all that bad.
